I like English and Scottish styles of beer. I have used the US crystal/caramel malts but they don't give the English toffee flavor like this malt does. If you are doing a UK beer choose the UK malts. I love the caramel/toffee flavors in this malt and have used it in an 80 Shilling Scottish Ale and a Scotch Wee Heavy with very good results.
