Like always, I can't just brew a beer with just the ingrediants that came in the kit. I added 3 more pounds of dark DME at the boil. I like malty beers and, until now, hadn't found the taste and body I was looking for. This time I actually got it a little too malty. It has a wonderfully malty taste up front with a slightly bitter finish. The mouth feel is very smooth. I just bought two more kits that I'll be adding two extra pounds each of dark DME. I'm going to be putting them on by back shelf to age for Christmas. Cheers!
