I've added this to my normal 80 Shilling Scottish Ale recipe and it has that good English caramel/toffee flavor with a bit richer flavor, being 60L. I use some Carastan and some 60L British Crystal and finally got the flavor right. If you are making a British beer choose the British/UK malts. I've brewed them with American and British/UK products and the British/UK gets me spot on to the flavors in those styles of beer, which is very different than American styles.
